Braille Institute

We invite you to join our weekly group, which meets every Tuesday at CRZ from 9:00 a.m. until early afternoon.  We are a very congenial and dedicated group.

For the benefit of partially-sighted persons, we transcribe books by typing on computers.  The information is then printed in a large, bold font to make a large-print book.  For the benefit of blind persons, Braille books are transcribed using Perkins Brailler machines.  Proofreaders are needed for the large-print books.  All books are done at the request of JBI International (formerly the Jewish Braille Institute) in New York.
