Holocaust Memorial Day
Yom HaShoah (יום הזכרון לשואה ולגבורה), which is also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day, takes place on the 27th day of Nisan. If this date falls on a Friday, the observance is moved to the previous Thursday. If it falls on a Sunday, observance is moved to the following Monday.
Our community will gather at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, for the annual Yom HaShoah Memorial Service at K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Congregation, 1100 East Hyde Park Boulevard, 773.924.1234.
