Prayer: Family Services

FAMILY SHABBAT & HOLY DAY SERVICES

Family Shabbat Services—designed to give children an essential picture of the Jewish prayer service—take place throughout the year. (see dates).  Everyone is welcome, but the service is geared towards Kindergarten through 6th grade students and their families.  The service has been revamped under the expert guidance of congregant Rhea Basa.  We strongly encourage parents, grandparents, and friends to come and pray with us.  There are also Tot Shabbats for pre-school age children and their parents on the same dates.

When the shofar calls, where will your family be?  Start the New Year with your young children at CRZ's Family Services.  Join Etty Dolgin, Jonathan Miller, and our High Holiday Choir in the Mandel Room as we worship together on the holiest days of the year.  Accessible prayers and beautiful music will help us welcome the New Year in the spirit of repentence and hope.  Tickets are required.

  • Rosh HaShonah – 9:45-11:15 a.m. both days
  • Yom Kippur – 10:30 a.m.-noon and 5:45-6:45 p.m.
A special service for children 4 and under with stories, singing, and snacks will take place in the Loeb Room (Room 209) at the same time as the family services.  Babysitting will be available in Room 101.
