Bruchim Habaim to the start of our new "Hebrew School" year!  As many of you have heard, the restructuring of The Hoffman Religious School is among the wonderful changes taking place at Congregation Rodfei Zedek.

Our youngest members will continue to attend school on Sunday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Bonim Beyachad (Building Together) will be our new mixed-age class for children 4 to 6 years of age.  Unlike Shalom Chaverim (for infants through age 4), this is strictly a drop-off class.

Our Religious School will begin this year on Friday, September 24, followed by Shabbat Kabbalat Service and Potluck Dinner.

CRZ's school offers a rich, vibrant learning environment in which we can nourish our children's growing Jewish identities and build the skills that children will need to be participatory members of their community and the world at large. Our curriculum embraces understanding the prayers we recite in services, basic spoken Hebrew, biblical and post-biblical history, important Jewish values, and our connection to the land of Israel in all classes. We are continuing a special focus on building students' confidence and enjoyment when participating in prayer services.

Throughout the year, as we continue to learn, grow, and implement new ideas, we will keep families informed through emails, flyers, and updates on the website.  If you have any questions or comments, please phone 773.752.2770 or email LearningCommunity@rodfei.org.
