Food Justice

Join us as we partner with the KAMII Social Justice Committee's award-winning and nationally recognized food justice and sustainability program.  With their garden harvests and their White Rock Gleaning program, they have delivered thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local soup kitchens and shelters.  Participation is welcomed on all levels:  seed-ordering, planting, harvesting, gleaning, delivering food.

Three times a week during the growing season, workers from the community tend and harvest KAMII's three gardens.  Before the growing season, workers prepare the earth, plants seeds, tend seedlings indoors, and prepare for harvest.  After harvest, workers put the garden to bed and prepare for the next year.
