Come together as a community to celebrate Chanukah! Light, songs, stories and joy will fill our evening together. We will also have a special guest, storyteller Max Segal Handelman! Max's engaging stories, puppets, and dynamic narratives will draw listeners of all ages into joy - and literally up on stage - to celebrate this festival of lights.

Maxine Segal Handelman is a captivating storyteller for audiences of all ages, who has mesmerized people with stories on Shabbatons and weddings, at camp and in classrooms, at retreats, and at Tot Shabbat. Max bakes a mean challah, and she is passionate about chocolate. Max is a 2020 recipient of the esteemed Covenant Award for Jewish Educators. She is the author of the picture book The Shabbat Angels and other resources for Jewish early childhood educators.
